  According to a recent survey by AMA of 1000 practicing physicians. 51% believe the burden associated with PA (Prior Authorization) has increased significantly over the past 5 years. 35% believe it has increased somewhat, 11% believe there has been no change and 3% believe that it has decreased somewhat or significantly. 86% report that PA burdens have increased over the past 5 years.
