Inside Medicare's Episode Payment Models - Major Provisions and Implications for 2018

  A survey conducted by Merritt Hawkins firm of 1,033 physicians, found that 42% "strongly support" a single payer health care system, and another 14% said they "somewhat" support it. Meanwhile, 35% responded that they "strongly oppose" a single payer system, and another six percent said they "somewhat oppose" it. A 2008 survey which showed 58% of physicians opposed single payer at that time while 42% supported it.
